FAQ

What to expect

Is the first consultation free?

Yes. The first 30-minute scoping call is free with no engagement letter required. You leave the call with a written summary of the applicable regime, indicative fees and a timeline for your jurisdiction.

How fast will I get a reply?

We respond within one Singapore business day (GMT+8). Intake questions are reviewed by the country lead for your jurisdiction before we propose a call time.

What should I prepare before the call?

A short description of the product (exchange, custody, stablecoin, OTC, tokenisation), expected volumes, target jurisdictions, ownership structure and where key officers reside. If you already have a pitch deck or corporate chart, attach it, otherwise a one-paragraph message is enough to scope the first call.

Can we sign an NDA before the first call?

Yes. Request a mutual NDA in the message field and we will send our standard template for e-signature before the intake call. Sensitive commercial data is only discussed after the NDA is executed.

In which languages can we meet?

Calls run in English, Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Bahasa Malaysia / Indonesia, Thai or Vietnamese, matched to the country lead handling your jurisdiction. Written work product is delivered in English by default, with a local-language version on request.

Which time zones are you available in?

Our core hours are Singapore time (SGT / GMT+8) and Hong Kong time (HKT / GMT+8), Monday to Friday 09:00–18:00. We also accommodate early-morning slots for Europe and late-evening slots for North America on request.

Do you use Telegram, WhatsApp or Signal?

Yes, we can continue on Telegram, WhatsApp or Signal once we have onboarded you. We do not publish messaging handles on the site; note your preferred channel in the intake form and the country lead will share a direct contact after the first call.

Which video-call platforms do you use?

Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams are all supported. We send a calendar invite with the dial-in link after the intake form is submitted; if your corporate policy requires a different platform, flag it in the message field.

Can we meet in person at your Singapore or Hong Kong office?

Yes. In-person meetings are available at our Singapore HQ (Raffles Place) and Hong Kong office (Central) by appointment. Please book at least three business days in advance so the relevant country lead can be present.

What happens after the first consultation?

Within two business days we send a written scoping memo, a fixed-fee proposal and an engagement letter. Engagement begins only once the letter is countersigned and the agreed retainer is received, there is no obligation to proceed after the free call.

Where can I reach you by email?

The team mailbox is [email protected]. Country-lead emails follow the pattern [email protected] and are listed on each expert profile.
